Details of 1911 Proprietor Born c.1870 Roehampton, son of a shoemaker. Married Clara Gwinn (born 1870 Guildford, died 1919). Two children – Edward Gwinn (born 1894, killed in action 1915) and George Philip (born c.1895 Ewell, lived Leicester and found dead on the railway line at Lower West Street, Ewell 3 May 1941 – married Mary Preston 1928). 2nd wife (married 1924) was Kathleen May Killick (1889-1957), daughter of local builder William Killick. There were two more children – Philip E (1926) and Michael J (1928). Edward died in 1939, then living in Cranbrook, Kent.
