| Details of 1911 Proprietor | Born c.1867 Woodford, Essex. Married 1902 Emily Alice Winifred Hyde (1875-1956). Came to Ewell between 1891 and 1901 and was still there in 1908 but by 1926 he had moved to Staines, where he died on 25 April 1943. Two children – Barbara Winifred (1903-18) and Harry Hyde (1906-89, married Ernesta Ritson Corkill, nee Dewsnup). |
| Details of building, where known | This used to be one of a pair, with Number 28 – see architectural description for 28. Long ago (at least pre-18I9) the site included a pub called The White Horse.
