| Details of 1911 Proprietor | Son of a linen draper, born 1854 Chertsey. Married firstly, in 1888, Emily Bristow from Sussex, who died in 1903. He then married widow Florence Kate Everett (nee Bartley, died 1937, then residing in West Bridgford, Nottinghamshire) in 1904. There were two children from the second marriage, both born in Ewell, being George (born 1905, became a bank official) and Dorothy (born 1907, married mechanic William Thompson Taylor). George Senior died on 15 July 1931, residing at 2 West Street. |
