| Details of 1911 Proprietor | Originally a millwright, became licensee of the Hare and Billett Tavern in Lee, Lewisham. Born 1852 Lambeth. Married 1880 Annie Bond (1850-89?). Married 1890 Amy Bond, sister of 1st wife (c.1857-1932). Children of 1st marriage – Edward (c.1882), Richard (c.1884) and Beatrice (1886). In 1911 both children were working in the pub. Richard also became a licensed victualler. I do not know what happened to Edward Junior, since in the 1911 census the Bonds claimed to have only two children, neither of whom had died, and both Richard and Beatrice were with them.

| Details of building, where known | Two storeys with low pitch hipped slate roof. Front rendered (rear yellow stone) with 3 sash windows (6 lower panes, 3 upper) to first floor. Ground floor divided irregularly by Corinthian headed pilasters incorporating decorative tiles on their shafts. Right pilaster turns corner and one on side. Between these are the entrances and infill panels, over which is frieze.
