| Details of 1911 Proprietor | Born c.1872 Kew, Surrey. Married 1896 Kingston baker’s daughter Beatrice Emma Lewis (c.1872-1932). Came to Ewell between 1881 and 1891 and at some stage after 1911 moved to Kingston and became a valuer. Remarried 1939 Florence Rosina Julian (1898-1973). Two daughters by first marriage, both born Ewell – Dorothy Beatrice (1898-1968, married Alec Edward Martin Wilcox) and Marjorie (1904-2000, married the same Mr Wilcox in 1969). Richard was also the Chief Fire Officer for the village; he died in 1953 in Canterbury district. |

Two storeys with plastered, jettied timber framing, six casement windows to first floor, right hand three modern lead ones. Ground floor has, from left to right, doorway, small modern shop window, sash window, door, modern sash, door, modern sash. Old tiled roof, jettied part mid 16thC.
