Grove Cottage is Grade II listed and has been described as:

“Two stories, colourwashed brickwork with parapet and string course at first floor. Three sash windows with partly concealed boxes on the first floor with gauged brickwork heads. Angular wooden bay with sash windows; flat roof to right of door and sash window to the left has bat-wing moulded plaster head. Central doorway with decorative fenestration in fanlight, with panelled door. Modern extentions to the right and rear. Some weather boarding evident at rear. Late 18th C.”

Previous occupiers include:

1830s Robert Hall who was elected to sit on the Parish Vestry committee on finding employment for out of work labourers.
