Shawley Way

In 1948 the Boswell family moved from 91 West Street, Ewell to a new home at 41 Shawley Way, Epsom Downs and the late Mr Boswell took a number of photographs before and after the building of their new house. These photographs have survived and we are very grateful to Mr Roger Boswell for letting us reproduce them here. As you will see they show the area when it was being transformed from open farm land to suburbia. Please note we do not know the order that the photographs were taken but Mr Boswell has kindly produced a plan showing the approximate location and angle of the shots.
