Son of Samuel Sparks, station master at Epsom Downs for 44 years up to 1914.

Died 5 March 1955, then living Worcester Park.

Jobmasters supplied horses and carriages/carts for hire so, if Mr Sparks was working out of these premises, he presumably had a sizeable yard (or he may well have had stabling at the Railway Hotel, which had substantial facilities for horses).
