Born c.1860 London; married 1884 Emily Mary Sandall (1861 Epsom-1947) Children (all born Epsom) – Henry John 1885-1965 Edinburgh, lived Christchurch Road, married Elizabeth Castledine; Frank Ernest c.1888-1967, married 1914 Elizabeth Goodwin (died 1955) and then in 1956 married Dulcie May Roll; Mabel Alice 1890-1974, unmarried; Hilda Emily 1892-1984, married Frederick Henry Wiltshire. Both Henry John and Frank Ernest were local builders. In 1881 Henry Senior was a carpenter lodging in Epsom. Died 26 July 1934, then living West Hill Avenue. Mr Roll’s business partner was Henry Taylor, who lived in Hook Road. Born c.1858 Epsom; married 1878 Emily Stroud (1857-1927) Children – Henry Herbert 1879 Peckham-1953, then living Hook Road, builder; Alice Florence 1880 Epsom-1957, married 1906 Frederick Thomas Ayres, newsagent of 47 High Street; Hetty c.1883 Epsom; Oscar (1892-1917, killed in action Belgium).
