Children – Charles (1889 Camden Town), mineral water manufacturer, married Nellie Amelia Dalton; Ethel Emma (1890 Brompton); Edith Sarah (c.1892 Kensington-1963), married Claudio Joseph Bayetto (died 1936); Olive Amelia (c.1893 Brompton-1919 Epsom); Elsie (1894 Brompton-1910 Epsom); Ada (1896 Epsom-1962?), married Charles Bradgate. Formerly a domestic coachman at West Hill House; died 30 December 1947, then living at 68 Temple Road. Charles Measures Junior became a partner in Randall & Measures, mineral water manufacturers of South Street, which I surmise was the same business as that run in 1911 by Mr A E Hyde (see 18 South Street). At some point the manufactory moved to the opposite side of the road, behind Number 55. |
