This is the same Holland & Barrett that is now an international health food chain. In 1870 Alfred Slapps Barrett (died 1933) and Major William Holland (died 1915) bought a shop in Bishops Stortford, Hertfordshire, from which they sold groceries and clothing; they then opened more branches and spun off the clothing operation. In the 1920s the grocery business was bought by Alfred Button & Sons (which used to own Budgens), but the name of Holland & Barrett was retained. After several mergers/takeovers Holland & Barrett is now owned by a private equity firm.

Henry Butler

Children – Ada Eleanor Kate 1911 Epsom, married Terence Abbott Boys; Phyllis M c.1914?

This looks to have been a business, as both Mr and Mrs Butler were described as launderers and they had a live-in assistant.
