Children (all born Epsom) – Edith Louisa, born 1870, married Herbert Richard Darlison, emigrated to USA 1905, died 1964 Toledo, Ohio; Annie Elizabeth 1872-1929, unmarried; Frederick George 1873-1955, boot factor, married Mary Ann Austin. Father (also George) was a market gardener. George Junior had another shop in Bridge Street and later at 6 East Street; he was also an Epsom councillor and on the Epsom Board of Guardians for many years. Died 6 January 1919, still living at Devon House. |
