| Details of 1911 Proprietor | Born 1874 Banff, Scotland, son of a Baptist minister from Reading. Mr Reid was already a draper’s assistant, in Wellington, Shropshire, at the age of 16 and then moved to Tenterden in Kent, where he was assisting widowed draper Mrs Ellen Wood. In 1902 he married Mrs Wood’s daughter, Jane, known as Jennie (c.1875- 1955?).
Children – (Elsie Murray 1903 Tenterden-1976), unmarried; Norman Campbell (1910 Epsom-1978). Lived at Bridge Road, Epsom, 125 Ashley Road, also had premises in Enfield and ultimately lived in Guildford. Died 1 July 1962.  Epsom Clock Tower c1910.
