Born 1880 Paddington; married 1916 Sophia Blainey (1880-1958). Even after her marriage it seems that Mrs W B Peacock ran a private nursing home in Mill Road, using her maiden name, and during the First World War she was matron of the Epsom and Ewell War Hospital, with her husband as Resident Medical Officer (he became a doctor in 1912). Child – Joan E (1916 Epsom). Died 20 September 1955, then living Taunton. Henry Maurice Peacock Born 1883 Paddington; married 1914 Kathe (Kitty) Charlotte Heymann (born c.1892 Hamburg), formerly a German mistress at a school in Exeter. Children – 3 daughters. Emigrated to New Zealand 1921; lived Masterton, Wairarapa, North Island. Died 13 March 1938, following which his widow moved to Auckland. |
