In 1911 Mrs Beauchamp was being assisted by her daughter, Maud Maidment, whose two children were with her; there were also a young domestic servant and three boarders – all in six rooms. At some subsequent point Mrs Beauchamp had both numbers 2 and 4 but in 1911 Mr Walpole the boot repairer seems to have been in number 4.
