Born c.1857 Seaton, Devon; married 1888 Mary Elizabeth Rudd (1856-1945). Child – John Addison (born 1895 Epsom, died of wounds 3 July 1916). Died 1923. The shop was formerly Bailey’s and then Weston’s; it later expanded into the residential portion and became Wheeler’s. William Bristow William had many strings to his business bow, including furniture dealing, removals (horse and steam-powered) and a shoeing forge. More information about him and his family is here.
